In fact, it will determine whether you waste assets, such as your and your people’s time, your money, your energy, your other business assets, are just plain and simply scattered and unproductive — or you consciously focus on THE ONE direction that holds the greatest profit potential for your business!!
Then follow through by taking unrelenting action that moves you toward the higher good and profit growth you desire!!
This is the 80% factor I am discussing. It is what you choose for the 80% direction in your business model!
Ahh, probably some of you are thinking, but wait J V, shouldn’t we have 100% focus on one direction? Great question.
For some entrepreneurs, there is one singular way in which they are going to make all of your money. However, for most entrepreneurs, there is an 80% primary focus with a 20% secondary focus.
And, what you choose as your 80% will affect both how you grow your business and how much profits you make.
This is the basic strategy:
1. Decide on your 80% focus in terms of what you offer for sale. For example: Your 80% may be pet foods and supplements for dogs. These are items that nourish and promote the health of canines.
2. Select your 20% focus. For example, items that dob owners want to buy for their pets, such as dog beds and pet toys,
3. Review your 80% and 20% choices to be certain that the 80% is actually the biggest profit maker and is a high demand product or service. Consider that you could have this backwards. It could be that your 20% products and services actually has the biggest profit potential.
Now, to make certain that you fully grasp the POWER of this strategy, consider how much energy and money is lost when you are attempting to go in multiple directions. Worse, how much it can cost you in lost profits if you fail to identify a BIG MAJOR DIRECTION for your business. Your 80% Factor!
Chose one major direction for how you focus 80% of your time, money, and energy in product development, marketing, and sales!!
