Presuppositions: In NLP there are assumptions that form the basis for the NLP approach to success. These are called presuppositions. KEYS 3, 4 and 5 are presuppositions that relate to Communication.
Why are good communication skills critical for business success? Because
Presupposition A: “The meaning of the communication is the response it elicits.”

I’m going to give you an insider’s secret. I’ve been studying and using NLP for 25 years and this presupposition is one of the most important.
However, you are going to have to get out of your ego to use it – you are going to have to accept RESPONSIBILITY for how the other person chooses to interpret your communications.
And, as an NLP Business Coach, I can frankly tell you thiscan be hard at first because your ego goes, hey, that is their fault, not mine! May be. But, the real question is, do YOU want to communicate in way that helps both you and the other person achieve the business success result you want?

And if so, YOU are going to have to pay attention to how your communication is interpreted. If it is not what you intended then YOU, yes you, have to adjust your style.
