Imagine what your primary responsibilities will be this year as well as in three years. Choose activities for your position that will bring you the greatest enjoyment, the ones you will look forward to engaging in daily.
This is your opportunity to design a position that emphasizes your strengths and passions. Make conscious choices so that your ideal position naturally results in your having ideal days.
Describe your ideal day and imagine what you would be doing.
Consider the contributions you want to make daily and weekly to leading your business, maximizing your profits, and being of service to others and our world.
Choose activities that will help both you and your business to grow and become the most successful. Review the following list as a way of stimulating your mind by considering if any of these are what you want to include in your position.
Here are some activities that many entrepreneurs consider when designing their position: creating and communicating the vision, interfacing with other entrepreneurs and business leaders, networking at events. managing the business, leading the team, overseeing information technology or developing new software, creating new product and service ideas, delivering content such as by speaking or writing, developing business and marketing strategies, closing sales or overseeing a sales team, or negotiating the deals.
In your ideal position, will you be working in an office, surrounded by your team, or will you be working virtually, from anywhere in the world?In your ideal scene, how many hours would you work each day and week? How often would you travel on business and how much time would you take off from work?
Create your ideal position, the one that will allow you to contribute to your business, clients, and the world at your highest levels.
