This is Part 1 of a four part blogging on NLP Patterns. In this part, I’ll discuss the importance of creating patterns of influence that include all three sensory modalities – visual, auditory, kinesthetic. Review the prior 3 blogs, one each on these modalities.
When you are developing patterns of influence, you will naturally want to use all 3 submodalities. The reason is everyone uses all three and therefore to be the most effective, you want to also.
Now in creating your patterns, you will want to focus on the one or two submodalities(visual, auditory, kinesthetic) that are the lead sensory systems for the person you are connecting with.

How do you know what are their lead systems? WATCH AND LISTEN FOR THE WORDS THEY USE. That is one of the best ways. See previous blogs on words from each of the three systems.
Note: their third sensory system is their hypnotic system – it is effective because it is the one that connects to their subconscious. This is why you should ALWAYS use what I ‘m teaching you ethically and in ways that are 100% aligned with their best interests and needs.
So, in putting together your patterns of influence, use the key words they use, match them exactly, in developing your NLP SENSORY RICH PATTERN OF INFLUENCE.

Practice by noticing your own sensory based words. Then try this with a friend or co-worker. Listen to them as you ask them questions about a good purchase and what they liked about it.
