This blog is a continuation of the NLP Business Coaching of the past two days on NLP Patterns. In yesterday’s blog I listed the 3 aspects of deconstructing and then using someone’s NLP Patterns to influence sales decisions. Here are the three areas.
1. Becoming conscious of the specific order in which a person processes information.
2. Becoming conscious of the specific modalities (visual, auditory, kinesthetic) that a person is utilizing.
3. Becoming conscious of how to utilize a person’s patterns to influence a sales decision.
NLP Business Coaching
In today’s blog I am going to discuss # 2 above, noticing the specific modalities someone is using in their patterns.
Note: Please see the 3 part blogging on the NLP modalities. In those, I discussed the three major NLP modalities, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic. Please review those blogs.
Utilize that information to notice which modalities (and submodalities) a person is using in their sequences. Which modality is used the most frequently. Notice if this modality is the one they typically use in their speech. Most likely, it will be.
This is their lead system/modality. In you conversations with them, this is the modality you want to utilize the most.
Now, which modality has the second highest frequency in this sequences? Notice if this is the second most frequently utilized. It most likely is. It should be the second most used modality in terms of the words you use in the conversations you have to influence a buying decisions.
